Kara Dombrowski Obituary
Mrs. Kara Kay (Meyers) Dombrowski, 51, beloved daughter, wife, mother and sister, of Clay Street, Tamaqua, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2022, in her home. She was the wife of Gene A. Dombrowski. They were married for 26 years.
Born on Friday, May 21, 1971, in Coaldale, she was a daughter of Michael Meyers and Betty Lou (Murphy) Meyers.
A 1989 graduate Tamaqua Area High School graduate, Kara worked at Heisler's Dairy Bar for over 10 years.
She enjoyed playing board games, however, she and her dad would debate who was the better pinochle player. She will be greatly missed by her dog and faithful companion Sadie.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are a daughter, Allison Taylor Dombrowski, and a sister, Kelly Meyers, and her fiancé, Tom Arner, both of Tamaqua.
Service: Funeral service 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua. Call 5-7 p.m. Friday.
