Karaleen Louise Eichorst of Euless, TX, passed away on August 8th in Keller, TX. She was a loving Mother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She was born on February 10th, 1947, in Texhoma, OK to W. O. “Slats” and Grace Crismon.
Karaleen spent a lifetime dedicated to her family, friends and her faith. Her life touched and impacted so many, through her thoughtfulness, understanding and quiet grace. Her genuine caring, kindness and loyalty were something to behold. She accomplished so many things in her remarkable life, which she usually kept to herself, as she would ask about your life instead. Her professional career started as a schoolteacher, but her years at American Airlines were a defining part of her life. Karaleen spent over 35 years at American, most of which she spent in the Office of The Chairman. Her love for her family and friends, and the connections she made through her faith, were what was most dear to her heart.
Karaleen was truly one of a kind and will be missed tremendously by all who knew her. Her memory is sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face who was lucky enough to meet her. Her giving nature and selflessness were a bright light in the lives of so many.
Karaleen is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law Chad and Courtney Liggins of Euless, TX. Sisters Kathaleen Thrasher of Texhoma, OK and Gayaleen Williams of Tulsa, OK and Brother William Bryan Crismon of The Woodlands, TX and families. Aunt “Kee Kee”, as she was known to many loving nieces and nephews will be deeply missed by all.
A service will be held on Friday September 12th at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Hurst, 1801 Norwood Drive, Hurst, TX 76054.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider donating to the UT Southwestern Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute https://odonnellbraininstitute.utsouthwestern.edu/ or to the First Baptist Church of Hurst Choir, https://firsthurst.com/give in Karaleen’s name.
