Karen Marie Bengsch, age 81 of Westfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at her home. She was born on July 5, 1941 in Westfield to Irving and Marie (Prill) Bengsch. Karen worked at Brakebush Brothers for many years until her retirement. She was baptized, confirmed and was a faithful member at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield.
Karen is survived by her sister, Maureen (Duane "Bud") Labrenz; three nieces, Mary (Richard) Hell, Westfield, Laurie Pekowsky, Oxford and Susan Collins, Adams; two nephews, Michael (Maggie) Labrenz, Sun Prairie and Gary (Sherri) Labrenz, Westfield; great and great great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Terry (Jeanne) and Dennis Bengsch; her nephew and godchild, Ricky Labrenz and her nephew in law, Mike Pekowsky.
A funeral service for Karen will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield with Rev. Jesse Davis officiating. Burial will be in Westfield East Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at church.
