Karen Bobo Obituary
Obleness Hospital.
She was born December 17, 1946, in Zaleski, the daughter of the late Ancel and Dolly Bolton
Morris. She was a graduate of Zaleski High School, she had worked as Albany Village Clerk
and was a retired cook for Alexander Schools.
Karen is survived by her children Michelle (Lance) Allison of Albany, and Mike (Janet) Bobo
of Athens; grandchildren Jaide (Joey) Lawson, Austin Bobo, Dylan Allison, and Karah Allison;
Siblings Bill (Pam) Morris of McArthur, and Lorna Morris of Wellston, and several nieces and nephews,
and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Tom and Joyce Bobo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry K. Bobo,
a brother Jim Morris, a sister Barb Hurd, and a niece Tonya Kisor.
Services will be Monday December 29,2025, at 1 P.M. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, with
Rev. Jerry Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is Sunday December 28, 2025, 4-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
