Karen Ann Calhoun, age 69 of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. She was born September 27, 1953 in Lebanon to the late James and Gladys Spalding.
Besides her parents, Karen was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael Spalding, Phillip Spalding and Ronnie Spalding; and one sister, Sue Boswell.
Survivors include her husband of 9 years, John Calhoun; four daughters, Tammy (Michael) Bickett, Glenda Chesser (Gary), Priscilla McNear (Louis Bickett) and Patricia McNear (Nookie Biggers); one son, James McNear (Kim); two sisters, Judy (David- Deceased) Barlow and Theresa (Robbie- Deceased) Turner; nine grandchildren, Brandon Bickett, Michael Todd Bickett, Greg Chesser, Brian Chesser, Gracyn McNear, Patrick McNear, Derrick McNear, Zachary McNear and Marissa McNear; two step-grandchildren, Jackson Stephens and Adam Turpin; two great-grandchildren, Skylar Bickett and Cayden McNear; one step-great-grandchild, Chloe Mattingly; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by Rev. Tommy Calhoun. Burial will follow in Ryder Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home.
