Karen Sue Colyer (Walker) age 69, departed this world to be with her Lord and Savior and entered into the kingdom of heaven on December 22, 2024.
Karen was born and raised in Norwood, Ohio to the late Betty Gale (Thompson) and George Walker Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wayne Colyer in 2001. She leaves behind her beloved sisters, Judy Myers (Larry), Diana Byrnside (Wayne), and Melissa Peel (Jeff). Karen loved her family so much and is survived by her dear nieces, Melissa Adkins and Trisha Phillips, Denise Kotzbauer, Amber Klein; great nieces, Brooklyn and Brianna; great, great nephew, Braydon; special cousins, Dwayne Courtney (Julie) and Jim Walker (Michelle); sister-in-law‘s, Rose Canada, Teresa, Goins, and Terina Colyer; lifelong friends, Jami Maple, Katie Whitis, and Diane Gardner.
Karen’s faith in Our Father sustained her in her difficult journey and she longed to “go home“ as she put it and be with Jesus and get her new heavenly body.
There will be a graveside service at Rest Haven Memorial Park (10209 Plainfield Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45241 on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 12:00 pm.
