Karen Marie Daniels, age 67, of Reading, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 at her home. She was born November 16, 1957 in Monroe, MI to Rev. Albert and Nellie May Gerline (Engle) Fultz.
Karen worked for many years as a waitress at Waffle House, not only serving meals, but making every customer feel like they were the most important person in the world. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, friend, mother and second mother to more people than you can count. She loved her children, grandchildren and always encouraged individuality rather than following others. Karen was dedicated to helping others and serving people. She was a hard worker and jack of all trades. She tackled challenges head on, and if she didn't know how to do something, she was determined to learn and always figured it out.
Survivors include her children, Melonie (David Scott, Jr.) Ward of Lewis Center, OH, Stacey Wayne Daniels of Wesson, MS, Lisa Ann (Joel) Berry of Wesson, MS and Emily Nicole Daniels of Reading; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Calla Allison, David Fultz and Carlie Fultz; and father of her children, Larry Daniels.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Beverly Cunningham, Patricia Dick, June Bowling and Steven Fultz; and grandson, James Mikeal Ward.
A memorial service for Karen Daniels will be held Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading with Pastor Chris Lanham officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
