Karen Galvin, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and cherished friend has passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025 at the age of 73 in her home surrounded by her daughter and husband.
Born on July 30th 1951, Karen lived a life marked by love, loyalty, and quiet strength. She dedicated 33 years of her professional life as a unit clerk and then staffing clerk at Good Samaritan Hospital, where her reliability and warm presence left a lasting impact on colleagues and patients alike.
Karen’s greatest joy came from spending time with her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Martin, and the proud mother of Rita and her fiancé, John. Her love lives on in her three grandchildren, Laura, Ben, and Sophie, whom she adored with all her heart.
Karen also found lifelong companionship in her childhood best friends and soul sisters, Rita and Linda. Their bond was a source of joy and laughter throughout the years, filled with memories that spanned a lifetime.
She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her dedication to family, and her ability to make everyone around her feel valued and loved.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
