Dear Family, We lived in Faulkton for 10 years and knew Karen's mother Betty and Aunt Evelyn Cooper. We often heard Karen's name in conversation. May you cherish your memories.

Thank you so much for sharing sweet Karen with the staff at Dow Rummel!!! She was such a lovely, sweet lady and it was such an honor to take care of her. I loved seeing her sweet smile everyday and getting a Karen hug. She was such a delight and I already miss her! Sending all my love and prayers to your family!

I had the privilege of taking care of Karen the past year and what a beautiful person and soul she was. She always had a beautiful smile for me and so grateful for everything. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Karen was a special friend. My parents knew her parents and my sister used to play with Karen. When Dick and I moved to Ellis we got to know Karen and we talked about the town we grew up in. So surprised to hear that we knew each other when we were young. Karen had a very special in my heart and she is a dear friend. She so enjoyed it when Connie and I took lunch up to her. Fun to talk about old times. She will be missed.

To the Grapevine family,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother Karen. What an amazing person she was. Your family was our neighbors many years in Ellis. We shared stories of families, cooking recipes, daily activities of things going on. She loved to talk along with many great laughs. She was so proud of her family and her husband. Her grandkids always had a special place in her heart. So glad Macel and I was able to take food and eat with her. She was so appreciate of her friends....

May happy memories help you during this difficult time.

I still remember when Aunt Karen joined our family. I would have been almost 10 years old. I remember them coming to my Grandma Kingery’s house. I don’t remember if that was the first time I met her or not. I always enjoyed our visits. I used to see them more often when I took Dad to the VA. We will miss her. Our sympathy to the whole family. Jonette

Was a special friend and neighbor and she is going to be missed got to watch the grandkids ride the mower with grandpa and play when they came to visit. See you later sweet Karen
