Mrs Karen lived these verses out before us. She faithfully checked in on my grandma, Ellen Kaigler, as well as other neighbors on Arceneaux Road. I have always admired the way that she gave of herself to others. She will be greatly missed, and my deepest sympathy goes out to the family. I pray that God will comfort you as only He can during this time of sorrow.

To the family-
I was saddened to hear of Karen's passing yesterday. Although it has been a few years, I remember Karen as being joyful and loving. I recall the many days and nights that she and Sara supported us with the Kid's of Today children's choir. Her sense of humor kept us in stitches and made us all appreciate the opportunities we had to work with those children. Karen was the epitome of kindness-always willing to help in whatever way she could. I remember the many times I entered C&C Family Shoes to purchase shoes for myself or my children-it was never dull as long as Karen or Sara were there!
May God bless your family today as you celebrate the life of this beautiful woman. I extend my deepest sympathy to each of you during the coming days ahead.

Our prayers & thoughts go out to all of Karen's family. We are sorry we cant attend the funeral but will be praying & thinking of you all today. Billy, Melissa and all the family:
I was saddened to hear of Karen's passing.
She was such a wonderful person and friend--always upbeat and happy.
I'll always remember her volunteering and helping me in the library at Gonzales Primary School, especially during Book Week when she would dress as book characters for the parades. Great memories!!
