Karen Keesler Obituary
Karen Layne Keesler passed away peacefully June 12th, 2023, at 73 years old in Bountiful, Utah. She was a long-time resident of Ogden and Roy, Utah. Karen married William “Kim” Keesler on November 20th, 1977. Kim and Karen had a deep love for one another and are once again joined together with their Father in Heaven.
They raised two children Kimberley Oakley and Michael Keesler. Karen was a vivacious woman with a love for life, friends and most importantly family. Her love for family is what she will always be remembered for, and she will be missed dearly.
Karen was preceded in death by her loving husband Kim, her mother Carrol, father Lowell, and her two nephews Nate and Daniel. She is survived by her brother David (Patty), sister Robyn (Curt), daughter Kimberly and her son Michael (Trevor). Her loving nephews Jason (Stephanie), Blake, Taylor (Mandy), Gavin, Russell, Greg and nieces MiKayla (Dakotah) and Morgan, grandsons Alex and Christopher Oakley, granddaughters Jayde and Sophie. Her honorary sons Aaron, Spencer, Leo, and Frank.
The family would like to give special thanks to Barton Creek Assisted Living Center and Envision Hospice for the superb care and kindness they showed Karen during her final days.
Services will be held on June 23rd, 2023, at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, UT, 84010. A celebration of life will begin at 1:00 P.M. prior to the formal services which will start at 2:00 PM.
