In Loving Memory of Karen M. Kernbauer (nee Busko)
Beloved mother, sister, aunt, friend and neighbor. Preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Busko, her parents, Ed & Helen Busko, her son, Ed (“Eddie”); she is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Rob), her siblings, Diane (Stas) Bryks, Robert “Bob-O” (Joyce) Busko, her nephew and nieces, Matt, Jess and Em, her countless friends (of all ages), and cherished neighbors of Evergreen Ave. Karen leaves behind a legacy of warmth, wit, and kindness.
Karen will be remembered for her quirky sense of humor, her belly laughs, her sensitivity, her generosity, her enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures and her garden, which was a reflection of her soul- colorful, and full of care. Her gratitude list included family, music and sunshine.
In her memory, Karen asked that we remember to perform random acts of kindness- to be gentle with each other, to offer help without expectation, and to live with open hearts free of judgment. She will be dearly missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved. Carpe Diem.
