Karen Lillian Kingery

Karen Lillian Kingery, 68, of Montesano passed away December 29th, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family. Karen was born on February 20th,1955 in Forks, Washington to Stanley McGarrah and Annie McGarrah. She moved to the Grays Harbor area in 1956.
Karen graduated from Montesano High School and furthered her education at Grays Harbor College, where she received her bachelor's degree in nursing. She made a difference in each of her patients' lives.
Karen Married Richard Gillham in 1973 and they shared four children together.
On April 15th, 1984 she married Orlen Kingery who also had two children from a previous marriage.
Karen enjoyed traveling, camping, living next door to her parents, and spending time with family and friends. She had an infectious smile and the best sense of humor.
Karen is survived by her husband Orlen Kingery, who resides at their home in Montesano; her mother Annie McGarrah of Montesano; sons Matthew Gillham (Rhonda) Phillip Gillham (Melanie), Steve Kingery, and Karl Gillham and daughters Anna Fulton, and Geneva Birdsall (Steve); 19 grandchildren and one Great grandchild, Avery who was born on Karen's 67th birthday. Brothers Terry ( Alice) McGarrah, Mike McGarrah, and Patrick (Shannon) McGarrah, and a sister Kathryn McGarrah (John) As well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in Death by her father and younger Sister Patsy McGarrah.
