Karen Rolle Beam Kumke, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct 26 at the age of 79. Karen was born in Fort Collins, CO. Her family settled in Anaheim, CA where she graduated from High School. She met and married Donald Beam. They had two children, Patsy and Renee. Arizona became their home. Don and Karen divorced after 20 years of marriage.
Karen married George Kumke. They celebrated 34 years of marriage before George's passing in April 2025.
Twenty years ago, while working in a male-dominated industry, Karen fell in love with quilting. Her daughters both joined in this hobby which made her extremely happy! She has made many beautiful quilts and created lasting friendships in the quilting community.
Karen is survived by three brothers Jim (Wanda) Rolle, Wayne Rolle and Jeffrey(Leny) Rolle. Karen's daughters, Patsy Beam Franko (husband Tom and 3 sons, Jonathon (Danielle), Jacob(Sophia) and Joshua(Gianna)) and Renee Beam Anderson (husband Leland Anderson and son Jayse(Angel)), 3 adorable Great Granddaughters.
Karen lived a full life. She loved her family very much. She will be missed.
