Karen Ann Loshe

Karen Ann (Coppess) Loshe, 63, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Adams Memorial Hospital. She was born in Decatur, IN, on March 5, 1961, the daughter of the late Richard C. and Ruth A. (Faus) Coppess. On July 16, 1983, she married Christopher J. Loshe.
She was a 1979 graduate of Adams Central and went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Indiana University - Fort Wayne. Since 2003 she has worked in the Commissions Department for One Resource Group in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed listening to The Beatles and loved traveling.
Karen is survived by her husband of 41 years, Chris Loshe of Decatur; their son, Ty Loshe of Decatur; a brother, Frank (Kathy) Coppess of Arcadia, FL; niece, Michelle (Anthony) Coppess Turner of Ft. Wayne; nephew, Jay Coppess of Germantown, WI; a brother-in-law, Patrick R. (Karen) Loshe of Greenfield, IN; 2 sisters-in-law, Suzanne M. McCarthy of Minooka, IL, and Dianne M. Swygart of Decatur; nieces and nephews, Doug Parrish, Sean McCarthy, Colin McCarthy, Caitlin Thompson, Missy McBride, Brandon Swygart, Samantha Kauffman, Jared Swygart.
Visitation will be from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Haggard - Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025, also at Haggard - Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, with visitation an hour prior from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Pastor Kenneth Hogg will be officiating and burial will take place in Decatur Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the A.C.C.F. Angel Cancer Fund.
