Karen L. Milne, 66, of Washington, passed into life eternal, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in her home with family by her side. She was born December 4, 1958, a daughter of the late James and Wilma White Twigger. Karen was a 1977 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School. Following high school, she was employed by Hallmark Cards, Inc. retiring in 1988. On St. Patrick's Day 1987, she met John R. Milne. After thoughtful prayer and God's guidance, they married on April 9, 1987, and have celebrated 38 years of marriage. Being each other's best friends and sharing a life of love in Christ. Love you, always! Karen's favorite time of year was Christmas, and she celebrated all year long. Hope, Peace, Joy and Love were always reflected in her celebrations with family and friends. Her holiday baking of family favorites were enjoyed by all because of the extra measure of love she added. She was a member of the Laboratory Presbyterian Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are, sister, Joan Rohaly of Canonsburg; brother, James Twigger (Becky) of McDonald; mother-in-law, Linda Milne of Austintown, Ohio; brothers-in-law, David Milne (Cari) of Austintown, Ohio and Dennis Milne (Angie) of Lawndale, NC; and several nieces, nephews and an aunt. In addition to her parents, her father-in-law, Robert Milne Jr; and brother-in-law, John Rohaly are deceased. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342 and from 9 to 10 a.m., the time of service, Friday, November 14, 2025, in Laboratory Presbyterian Church, 23, Manse St., Washington, PA 15301. Interment will be private in LaFayette Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Love Fund at Laboratory Presbyterian Church.
