Karen Sue Ritter, 69, Sandusky, went home to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born in Sandusky on November 18, 1955 and attended Margaretta High School. Karen also worked at Kalahari but most of the time took care of her children at home.
Karen loved shooting pool and was a member of many leagues, loved butterflies, and she was attending The Chapel and her relationship with God was very important to her. Her family and especially her grandchildren were very special to her.
She is survived by her children, Ronnie (Cindy) Ritter Jr., Tim (Karen) Ritter, Larry Long Jr., June (Rob) Moser, Matt Ritter, and Megan (Jeryd Vreelands) Ritter; eighteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Suzanne Honaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Lee Ritter, Sr.; mother, Eleanore "Bootsie" Smith; and sisters, Linda Smith and Shirley Smith.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 9:30 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:30 A.M. in The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Rd., Sandusky.
