Karen Lynn (Krause) Seitz, age 69, of Kendallville, passed away November 5, 2025, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville. Karen was born in Jackson, Michigan, on October 15, 1956, to the late Edward and Dorothy Krause. She married Daniel Joseph Seitz on June 14, 1992, in Stateline, Arizona.
Reading all the comments posted about Karen's passing, the one theme that seems to be the most stated was about her sense of humor. Karen had a dry wit that became infectious among all of her friends. But there was a much deeper side to Karen. She was so loving, caring and kind and it showed with all of those she loved and those who loved her. After moving to Indiana, she found her perfect career as a counselor for Wise Choices and case manager with Northeastern Center. she touched her clients so much so that when she would run into them years later they would always tell her how much she did for them.
For those of us she left behind, we can all still smile just a little behind our grief because of her gift of laughter. I could make a list of her accomplishments but those aren't the memories we need to hold on to. Karen's smile and her loving heart are the best memories. R.I.P. Karen.
