Karen Simpkins Obituary
Karen Louise Simpkins, 77, of Orrville, passed away March 27, 2026.
Karen was born February 8, 1949 in Wadsworth, Ohio to Clifford and Wilma {Carnahan} Valentine.
She married Sid Simpkins on July 24, 1970.
Karen enjoyed puzzles, and watching baseball and basketball. She loved spending time with her grandkids.
Karen will be deeply missed by her husband Sid; daughter Diane (Chad) Vance; and grandchildren Wyatt (Brittany) Vance, Rachel (Kenny) Vance, and Ashlee Vance.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dwain, Ronald, Dennis, and Curtis Valentine, and sister Janet Piatt.
Entombment and a private graveside service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of Greater Akron at 580 Grant Street, Akron OH 44311.
