Sadly, I just found out today, so many years later that Karen passed away. I went to the North Shore Voc with her, and we were in Marketing (Distributive Ed) together. I remember Karen as sweet, funny, a bit mischievous and a little spitfire when she wanted to be. She was kind, and always told me how pretty I was, and I always told her how pretty she was too. Though Kren didn't need anyone to stand up for her, I always did whenever someone tried to tease her (which wasn't often, because Karen wouldn't stand for it). She is a dear soul, who I have thought of many times over the years and I'm sure wherever she is, Karen is lighting things up with her smile.
