Karen Leigh Tresselt (Coffey), age 63, peacefully departed this earthly plane surrounded by family on Friday, August 22, 2025. Karen was born on August 17,1962 in Jacksonville Florida to Hilary (HB) and Constance Coffey. They moved to Frederick MD shortly after where she lived for most of her life. She also lived many years in Waynesboro PA, where she resided at the time of her passing. Waiting for her on the other side are her infant son, Michael Alan Tresselt, both of her parents and her big brother, David Coffey. As well as many other relatives and friends. Missing her on this side of the veil are her children, Shane Tresselt & partner Sabrina, Daniel (Danny) Tresselt and partner (Shala), and Rachel Mattson and husband Robert. Her many grandchildren, Anthony, Ashleigh, Aubrie, Avery and Aynslee Poole; Jonas, Sylvia and Dayvian Tresselt; Madison Martin and Harper Mattson. Her bonus grands Ethan and Isiah Allen, Nate and Natalee Mattson. Her Great grandbabies, Jackson and Ellie Ogilvie. Her beloved sister, Michelle Eubinag and partner Dana. As well as many other loved ones and friends. Karen was an avid reader. Stephen King and Anne Rice were a few of her favorite authors. She loved horror movies, board games (especially Scrabble), puzzles and crochet. If you knew her, you know she always had yarn with her everywhere she went. She was always working on some little project. She loved and respected Mother Earth and Nature. As per her wishes, there will be no traditional services. The family will be having a celebration of life in late October, more details at a later time. If you'd like to honor her memory, please read your favorite book, watch a spooky movie, play a board game or just take a walk and enjoy the beauty of this world.
