Mrs. Karen Lee Troup Williams, age 84 of Sparta, NC passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 26, 2026. She was born in New Kensington, PA on October 28, 1941, to Roy Gerald Troup and Dorothy Vaye Gogley Troup. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Debbie Connell.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and was very dedicated to her husband Frank. Her pumpkin pies will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of enjoying them.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Frank Williams; two daughters, Brenda Lee Hafer of Seneca, SC and Kerry Crouse (Melvin) of Glade Valley, NC; 11 grandchildren; 1 step grandson; 15 great- grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry Troup of Baltimore, MD.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Williams Family Cemetery, Trot Valley Road, Stuart, with Gary West officiating. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
