Karl F. Eppenstein, age 60, of Savanna, Illinois, passed away on February 14, 2026, at Iowa City Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa, following a long illness.
Karl was born on January 8, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of James and Charlotte (Deveraux) Eppenstein. He moved to Savanna with his family in 1980, where he planted his roots.
