Millville - Karla V. Olson Anderson, 79; passed away unexpectedly on October 31st, 2025. She was born October 3rd, 1946 in Afton, Wyoming to Ralph Albert and Verla Bell Olson as the oldest child of 5. She attended the majority of her schooling in Millville, and graduated from South Cache High School in 1964.
Karla married her bean-picking buddy, DelMar Anderson, on November 16th, 1965 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed with 4 children. She worked in various capacities; including hotel clerk, lunch lady, and later became certified as a dental assistant a.k.a. Slobber sucker. She started out her dental career with Dr. Monte Carlson, and then spent the majority of her time working with Dr. Sam Peery.
Karla was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in various callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, including primary teacher, and spent 31 years as the missionary plaque coordinator. She supported DelMar for 5 years as he served as a Bishop of Millville 1st Ward.
Karla enjoyed her Coca-Cola and Peanut M&M’s. She also spent her time cooking for her family, making several different types of crafts (most of which are unfinished), spending time with her grandchildren, and taking care of her rose bushes.
She survived by her 4 children; Wade (Tereasa), Millville; Kim (Grant), Millville; Jenny (Jon), Wellsville; and Chad (Risa), Murrieta, California; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her 3 sisters and 1 brother, their spouses, as well as other extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Anderson; her parents, and her in-laws.
Per Karla’s request, graveside services will be held at the Millville Cemetery on Wednesday November 5th, 2025 at 11 am with Bishop Eric Schiess conducting. There will be a viewing held at Allen Hall Mortuary on Tuesday November 4th, 2025 from 6 pm to 8 pm; and again on Wednesday November 5th, 2025 at the Millville Church from 10 am to 10:45 am. 110 South Main Street, Millville, UT. Interment will be held in the Millville City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net.
The family would like to thank Logan Regional Hospital Emergency Department staff, life flight staff, and McKay Dee Hospital ICU staff for their care and kindness shown to our mother and grandmother.
