Karoly Rezmann Obituary
Karoly Rezmann, a long-time resident of the Cleveland area, passed away December 22, 2023 at home with family. He was born October 25, 1930 in Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary to Janos and Anna. He immigrated to the US along with his beloved wife of 59 years, Josephine and son Karoly Jr during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. Karoly learned metal fabrication and founded Quality Metal Works. He was active in the Cleveland Hungarian community and loved dancing and eating delicious foods at the numerous Hungarian festivals each year. Karoly was a talented baker who regularly baked treats for his family. A hardworking and caring father, he also had a strong sense of humor. When asked his secret to living to 93, his reply was, “I’m not telling.” Karoly is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and wife Josephine. He is survived by his children Karoly Jr. (Patty), MaryAnn Grams, Sandor, and Josephine (Scott) Sevits, along with grandchildren Alex, Nicole, Nathan, Ian, Dani, Jenna, Olivia, and Scarlet.
