Karson J. Asfeld, age 2 months of Melrose, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the CentraCare Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
A private family service will be held.
Karson Jacob Asfeld was born August 25, 2025 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Nicole Asfeld. Karson was a happy baby who was loved by his mom and his sister. Whenever they were around him, Karson always had a smile for them.
Survivors include his mother, Nicole Asfeld of Melrose; big sister, Korra Schumacher at home; grandparents, Bruce and Rose Asfeld of Osakis; uncle, Nathan Asfeld of Georgia; aunt, Mikayla Asfeld of Rice, uncle, Jonathon Asfeld of Osakis; great-grandmother, Doris Herdering of Melrose; and great-grandfather, Leo Asfeld of Sauk Centre.
Karson was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Bernard Herdering; and great-grandmother, Elizabeth Asfeld.
