Kary Albert Steponik

Mr. Kary Albert Steponik, 71, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 peacefully at his home. Born on December 15, 1944 in Cumberland County, Kary was the son of the late Albert Kary Black and Ruby Watts Black. He was employed by Colonial Exterminators for over 40 years and was also an avid golfer. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Peter "Dink" Steponik and Rodger Black; sisters, Brenda Smith and Adele Ludlum; and a nephew, Adam Black. Kary is survived by his wife, Georgie Vasey Steponik; daughters, Robin Steponik Casada and husband Donald "Cas" Casada, Karrie Anne Faas and husband Dan Faas of East Greenbush, NY, and Laurie Iwaniec of Troy, NY; grandchildren, Ricky McMillian, Jr., LaChanda McMillian Simpson and husband Michael, Kristopher "KC" Steponik, Joseph Faas, Hillary Faas, Jacob Faas, Allie Iwaniec, Natalie Faas and Faith Simpson; great grandchildren Zacharyah Wilson and Faith Steponik; sister, Barbra Steponik of Grays Creek; brother, Rueben Black of Fayetteville, and several nieces and nephews. Kary will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
