Karyn S. Cook

Lima - Karyn S. Cook, 59, died at 12:15 a.m. Dec. 5, 2010, at her residence. She was born March 30, 1951, in Lima to Judge Roger D. and Nina L. Baker Andrews, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 26, 1969, she married Ronald “Steve” Cook, who survives in Lima. Mrs. Cook was self-employed as an interior designer for more than 32 years. She also had a fine dining catering service for several years. She was an avid golf player and enjoyed cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her family and special friends. Survivors also include a daughter, Tammy Booker, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; special friends Rob, Lino and Enzo Strahm, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; an uncle, Clyde Baker, of Lima; and an aunt, Elizabeth Wood, of Lima. No services will be held. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Shawnee Chapel. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date.
