Coaching this young man was a joy. I will always remember him for the sacrifices he made to help others and the respect he had and carried toward others. I pray for peace for his family. We will miss you, and have a lot of love for you. Kasan

To the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I met Kasan his senior year of high school when I was recruiting him to come play football at St. Andrews University. Once he arrived on campus Kasan showed nothing but the drive to learn and help the team anyway he could. I watched him handle tough situations in his life and not allow them to affect whatever task at hand he was working on. I watched him make tough decisions that required him to sacrifice and he did it with a positive and selfless effort. Kasan was the kid every coach wants apart of their team! Love and prayers to the Edwards family and friends.
