Kasey Cisneros

Our beloved sister, daughter, mother, tia, cousin, and partner, Kasey Marie Cisneros, unexpectedly gained her heavenly wings on Thursday, May 12, 2022, in Odessa, TX.

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home at 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 19, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, May 20, 2022, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Timothy Hayder officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Those who knew Kasey will fondly remember her initial shy smile and reserved demeanor that would quickly transform into a vivacious personality once she got to know you. Her infectious laugh, passion for music, and her desire to bring “life to the party” energized any room she entered. She never turned down the chance to meet new people, travel somewhere new, or simply gather all the little children, who befriended her babies and would care for them like her own, especially her sweet nephew, “Dom”, who adored her.

She was creative, kind, caring, and thrived as a stay-at-home mother all while pursuing her passion for creativity through her home business, KC’s Creations. The love for her craft, shined through with her beautiful one-of-a-kind custom T-shirts, mugs, party favors, and anything her clients could imagine. She was a friend to many, always offering a polite smile or encouraging words to anyone she met, making even a stranger feel accepted and welcomed. Her presence will be tremendously missed every day.

She is survived by those who loved her most including her children, Jovanni Aguilar, Jazlyn Aguilar, Madelyne Carrillo, and Mason Carrillo; her partner, Mark Carrillo; her mother, Olga Marquez; grandparents, Blasa and Daniel Lara; her siblings, Kristeena Marquez (Moises Marquez), Kristopher Cisneros, Mario Cisneros, and Krystal Cisneros (Jesus Pulido). Her nieces and nephews, Kourtney Marquez, Mariah Castillo Marquez, Austin Marquez, Penelope Cisneros, Malilkai Cisneros, Brina Garcia, Eleeyz Carrillo, Celeste Caraveo, and Dominic Caraveo. And her extended family Octavio Carrillo, Alicia Carrillo, Arlet Carrillo (Adrian Soto), and Marlet Caraveo (Andy Caraveo).

She is preceeded in death by her father, Ricky Cisneros; her maternal grandparents, Maria Alarcon Marquez and Fidel Marquez, Sr.; several beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew Baby Adrian Caraveo, and especially her cousin, Lupita Alvarado, and her madrina, Delma Marquez, for whom she longed to be reunited and fall into their warm embrace.

Kasey will be carried by several women who fiercely loved her and were blessed and inspired by Kasey’s energy and nurturing spirit. Pallbearers will include Yvonne Aldaz, Desiree Aldaz, Veronica Alvarado-Dehuma, Arlet Carrillo, Marlet Caraveo, Kourtney Marquez, Mariah Castillo Marquez, and Monica Marquez. Honorary pallbearers: Kristeena Marquez and Krystal Cisneros.

The family would like to express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to all our friends and family who have extended their love and support during this difficult time. Especially to the First Responders, Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and those who have generously provided food, flowers, continued prayers, and financial support during this difficult time.
