Peggy Diane (Wilson) Link, known affectionately to all as Peggy, completed her earthly journey on March 14th, 2026. Born on November 6th, 1955, in the scenic city of
Grand Junction, Colorado, Peggy's life was a rich tapestry of love, creativity, and warmth. She passed away peacefully in
Odessa, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family, after a life well-lived and cherished.
Peggy's life was marked by her generous spirit and loving heart. Her creative soul found joy in the simple pleasures of arts and crafts. From pouring ceramic molds to firing the kiln and meticulously painting the finished product, Peggy's artistic talents were a testament to her patience and passion for beauty. The color yellow, reminiscent of the warmth and happiness she brought to others, was her favorite, and she held a special fondness for yellow roses, which reflected the sunshine she spread wherever she went.
Family was the cornerstone of Peggy's life. She is survived by her long-time companion, Randy Park, and her loving daughter, Cynthia (Kevin) Koehly of Temple, TX, and sister-in-law Corina Wilson of
Odessa, TX. Peggy's legacy continues through her three grandchildren, John William Link V, Alexyss Griffith, and Giaanna Morales, and her great-grandchild, Versailles Link, who brought immeasurable joy and a sparkle to her eyes that will be remembered by all who witnessed it. Numerous nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved son, John William Link IV, her parents, Willie Lee and Eula Nell (Norton) Wilson, her brothers Jack and Robert Wilson, and her sister Darlene Savell and her husband Dennis. Her family remembers her as the glue that held them together, her daily phone calls a testament to her unwavering commitment to their well-being.
A gifted conversationalist, Peggy often reminisced with her brother Robert about their childhood, keeping the memories of the 'good ol' days' alive with laughter and love. Her culinary skills were legendary among her family and friends, with John and Randy proclaiming her chicken fried steak and chicken strips to be the best around – an accolade that speaks volumes of her talent in the kitchen.
Peggy's love for her parents was deep and enduring, and she missed them profoundly after their passing. Holidays were a special time for Peggy, an opportunity to express her love through festive celebrations and gatherings that were the highlight of the year for her family.
The words that best describe Peggy are loving, creative, and generous. She lived her life with an open heart, always ready to give and share with others. Her absence will be felt deeply by all who were fortunate enough to know her, but her spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched.
