Rochester, NH – Kate Annency, 26, passed away suddenly at her home on September 23, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with diabetes. She was surrounded by the love of her family and her boyfriend.

Born on May 9, 1999, Kate was the daughter of Matthew Gilbert and Toni (Nagy) Nadeau.

Kate was known for her vibrant personality, her love of music, and her passion for hair and makeup. She cherished time spent with her longtime boyfriend, Brodie, and with her family-especially her mother, who was also her very best friend. Kate had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed playful banter with those she loved. She found joy in playing games, caring for her many pets, and had a deep love for animals of all kinds.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Toni and Martin Nadeau of Rochester, and Matt and Rachel Gilbert of South Berwick; her beloved boyfriend, Brodie Thirsk; grandparents, Winnona Robinson and husband, George, and Harold and Patti Gilbert; her brothers, Zach and Levi Gilbert; aunts and uncles, Donna and Ed Tremblay, Anna Mountain, Stacey and Paul Burgess, and Wendy and Todd Germain; her faithful pets, Chester, Cola, Jeffrey, Joline, Merlin, Evie, Pip, and Daizy, as well as many cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Grondin Funeral Home, 177 North Main St., Rochester, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association. To leave an online condolence for the family, please visit www.taskerfuneralservice.com.
