I followed Kate from practice to practice for years. She encouraged me through a tough divorce & cancer. Never looked forward to visiting a dentist as much as I did visiting her. I will miss her & remember her.

Kate was wonderful and so caring and I will miss her tremendously. She was my Dentist and when she got her own practice I followed her. I was very happy for her. My thoughts and prayers for the family.

I met Kate when she first moved to Colorado. We ended up walking around Wash Park for over an hour just talking... and so began our beautiful friendship...
She was my concert buddy..she danced like no-one was watching ... she was compassionate and so so funny ... She and I had so many laughs and so many adventures together .. some of the best times of my life were with Kate. She always had a way to make you feel like a million bucks ... my wonder woman ...till I see you again Kate I love you and I will honor you every day
In my thoughts and prayers and heart for the Brokaw family

My husband and I send our condolences on the passing of your daughter. We only knew her for a short while when she was our dentist at Standley Shores but we really liked her. She provided excellent care and would often quote her dad's dental advice and wisdom. And we would talk about traveling. I'll remember her for her smile and warmth. Our prayers are with you and only through one moment at a time will you manage the overwhelming grief. God bless your entire family.

I was not a close friend, but for the last 18 months, I was Kate's petsitter. She loved her kitties so much, and it was apparent she loved all animals. She was so kind, had a beautiful smile, and a warm personality. The news of Kate's passing breaks my heart. God bless her family as they try to cope with this devastating loss.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Kate. I was a patient at Sunrise in Boulder. She took care of a crown for me with the finishing appointment just a couple of weeks ago. I had three appointments with her and I really enjoyed her quick smile and laugh. She was easy to talk to and I was looking forward to being her patient for years to come.

Kate was our family dentist for several years at Standley Shores Dental Group. My son is autistic, so visiting the dentist was never easy for him. Kate was always and kind and calming presence. She was always friendly and warm to us.

I did not know her well, but what I did know of her was beautiful. I am grateful to her for all the help she gave to us regarding my sons.

My deepest condolences.
