Katelin Johnson Obituary
Katelin was born November 18, 1989 in Sparta, Tennessee. She was a devoted wife, mother and member of the West Sparta Church of Christ where she was an inspiration to the church for her strength and unwavering faith, even on her most trying days.
Katelin is preceded in death by her mother Melissa Ann Measles Kell who died November 6, 2025; grandparents, Linda Sprout, Paul Measles, Charles and Kaytella Fuqua.
Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her loving husband Shayne Johnson of Doyle
Son: Malachi Young of Sparta
Daughter: Whittney Astrid Yott of Sparta
Father: David Fuqua of McMinnville, TN
Sister: Katerina Hill of Sparta
Grandfather Oren Sprout of Cookeville, TN
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Thursday, February 5, 2026 at West Sparta Church of Christ with burial in Old Blue Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 10:00am Thursday at the church. Derrick Coble will officiate.
Shayne Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Wayne Allen Grantham, Zack Young, John Pauley and Malachi Young will serve as pallbearers.
