Katharina Argyris Obituary
Kathy's life was marked by her wonderful sense of humor, her thoughtful nature, and her immense capacity for forgiveness. She was a beacon of love and laughter, touching the lives of all who knew her with her kindness and her generous spirit.
Kathy's love for her family and friends was the cornerstone of her life. She had an extraordinary ability to keep in touch with everyone, making each person feel uniquely special and valued. Kathy's presence was a source of joy and comfort, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
A woman of simple tastes and frugal habits, Kathy found great pleasure in the art of couponing and the thrill of a good garage sale. Her knack for finding the best deals and her excitement over a great bargain were legendary among her family and friends.
Kathy's sense of humor was one of her most defining traits. She had the rare ability to find humor in everyday situations and to share that laughter with others. Her witty remarks could lighten the mood of any room and bring a smile to even the sternest of faces. Kathy's legacy of laughter will live on in the stories and memories shared by those who loved her.
Kathy is survived by her children, Christina Jensen and Alan Argyris; her brother, Peter Kristich; and her grand-dogs, Jax and Doby.
Visitation at church from 10 AM until the Funeral Service at 11 AM on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 32377 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048.
