It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Katherine Ann Anderson, age 91, who departed this life peacefully on November 2, 2025, in Cumming, Georgia. Born on August 20, 1934, in Racine, Wisconsin, Katherine lived a long and beautiful life defined by love, faith, and devotion to her family.
Katherine was a devoted mother to her children - Mark and wife Lola, John, Raymond, Heather, and Joel and wife Jennifer- and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, Brian Anderson, Marie Miller, Ashley Udell, Joseph Udell, and Audrey Anderson and her three great grandchildren, Charlotte and Anna Miller and Colton Parker who brought her endless joy and laughter in her later years.
A woman of strong Christian faith, Katherine embodied kindness, patience, and compassion in all she did. She delighted in solving puzzles, playing bridge - where she was both skilled and competitive - and working through word searches and sudoku. A gifted seamstress, she lovingly created handmade items for family and friends, leaving behind a legacy stitched with care and creativity.
Katherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Anderson; her daughter, Betsy Anderson; and her granddaughter, Lily Anderson. She was also preceded in death by Frank and Florence Halter, Henry Halter, Joan Sorenson, and Nancy Christiansen. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A graveside service will be held in her honor on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Peachtree Memorial Park, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Katherine's remarkable life and the love she shared so freely.
Katherine Ann Anderson will forever be remembered as a faithful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose gentle spirit and unwavering love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
