Jason Eugene Grawey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Eugene Grawey, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, who left us on November 4, 2025, just days before his 51st birthday. Born in Galesburg, Illinois, on November 10, 1974 to the late Ronald and Deborah West Grawey. Jason carved out a life in Roswell, Georgia, where he shared his passion for photography with the world. As an artist, he captured the beauty of life through his lens, leaving a legacy of stunning visuals that will be cherished for years to come.
Jason was known for his gentle spirit and kind heart. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, warming the hearts of everyone he met with his genuine nature. A lover of long, philosophical conversations, he often sought to explore the complexities of life, love, and happiness, inspiring those around him to ponder profound truths and embrace the beauty of existence.
He is survived by his devoted sister, Melissa (wife, Sandra Stovall) Johnson, and brother, Ross (wife, Tina) Johnson, Jason will also be lovingly remembered by his five nieces Jessica, Brittany, and Brandi and nephews Justin and Colton along with his great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart. Also surviving are his Aunts Trudy Coe, Winnie Tuszynski, Janet VanFleet and Uncle Jim Grawey. Jason was also preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, John and Mary Grawey and Ted and Lilah West.
A visitation to celebrate Jason's life will take place on November 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel. His family invites friends and loved ones to gather and share their memories, anecdotes, and the love they shared with this gentle soul.
As we remember Jason, we find comfort in the impact he had on our lives, and we know he will live on in our hearts forever.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date for the family and friends in the Galesburg, IL area! He touched so many people!
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a go fund me account to help offset the costs of Jason's funeral and to help with Bay, his beloved dog, medical bills for her upcoming surgery.
