Ronald "Ron" Norbert Grawey Jr., passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2023, in Stevens Point, WI.
Ron was born on December 26, 1968 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; son of Ronald Sr. and Paulette (Olson) Grawey. While attending high school in Stevens Point, Ron met Mary Bemke and fell in love. They married on October 28, 1989. While they were happily married for many years, they decided to divorce in 2020, but remained very close in each other's lives.
Ron successfully owned and operated his own small business, Grawey Heating and Cooling, which he inherited from his father, Ronald Grawey Sr and ran with Mary and his brother-in-law Brian Paque. He was known to his customers as generous, helpful and warm, talented with his work, and a fair businessman. He was also a faithful Christian. When he wasn't dedicating himself to serving others, Ron enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing pool, snowmobiling, shooting his guns, boating and spending time on the water, watching fantasy movies, and gaming, which he often played with his children. He also deeply adored his many pets throughout his life.
While Ron faced many challenges throughout his life, such as the loss of his brother and father, and the separation from his wife, he remained a devout Christian. He was always ready to help anyone in need; a deep and thoughtful soul, and a loving father, son, brother and friend.
Ron is survived by his mother, Paulette (Wayne) Penick; his former wife, Mary Kay (Bemke) Grawey; his two daughters, Alyssa Marie Grawey (24) and Hailey Kay Grawey (23); and his son, Dillon Ronald Grawey (23). He is further survived by his sister, Sheryle (Matt) Tepp; his brother, Bret (Jennie) Grawey; his sister, Gerri Grawey; his step-brother, Rob Penick; and many nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Grawey; and his father, Ronald Grawey Sr.
A Celebration of Life for Ronald N Grawey, Jr. will be held at The Sky Club on December 7, 2023. The family welcomes the community to visit and share memories of Ron from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A private family burial will be held in the near future. Shuda Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
