William F. "Bill" Donahue, born on February 4, 1931, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, dedicated his life to his family, faith, and work.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Donahue; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Donahue; son-in-law, Dr. Don Mullen; brother, Paul Donahue, and sister, Nancy Cassely.
Bill built a distinguished career, serving as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Schlumberger for 34 years. Following his retirement, he embraced a well-deserved life filled with love, laughter, and family.
Bill married the love of his life, Lana Obijeski, and together they shared 40 beautiful years of marriage. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Lana Obijeski; his children, Christine Donahue, William F. Donahue, Michael Donahue; bonus children, Thane Obijeski and wife Patricia, and Todd Obijeski and wife Christine. He was a proud grandfather to Brenden and wife Kayla Donahue, Bryan Donahue and fiancé Rachel, Brent Donahue, Danielle Obijeski, Lauren Obijeski, and Kristen Obijeski, and a cherished great-grandfather to Taylor May and Mallory Ann Donahue.
A man of many passions, Bill was an avid reader and walker who remained committed to fitness throughout his life-often seen at the gym. He loved spending time at the beach, especially in St. Maarten and Destin, and was a loyal fan of the New York Giants. A faithful member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Bill lived his life with purpose, kindness, and a warm sense of humor that touched everyone he met.
After a long and fulfilling life, William F. Donahue passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, at the age of 94.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10:30 am at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell.
In this time of grief, we remember and celebrate the legacy of a wonderful man whose impact on those he loved will be felt for generations to come. Bill's memory will forever live in our hearts, reminding us of the love he so freely shared with everyone he met.
