Katherine Bronaugh, 69, Hopkinsville, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Hopkinsville, KY.

Katherine, the daughter of the late Edward Hardy Bowman and Sally Mae Jones Bowman, was born on August 15, 1956, in Hopkinsville, KY.

Katherine was a member of Edgefield Baptist Church, serving on the culinary committee, bus driver, Mother's board, choir member and finance committee. She was a self-employed caregiver. She loved shopping, traveling, reading, cooking, and fishing. She also loved watching movies, eating, and laughing. Katherine was a member of Circle 5; She served as the assistant secretary. She loved participating in Senior games.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Howard Davie, Peter Davie, Leroy Davie, James Bowman, David Bowman, Clarence Bowman, sister, Diana Gray.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Robert Bronaugh; children, Timothy Bronaugh, Jacqueline Bronaugh Burris; siblings, Ollie Herring, Gary Bowman, Sr.; grandchildren, Tedrick Bronaugh, Kourtney Burris, Markee Powell, Anthony Burris, Jacquez Burris, Alexis Burris; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
