Katherine Brewer DeVries

Katherine Elaine Brewer (DeVries) went to dance on the streets of heaven on April 10th 2025.
She was born in Tooele Utah. Above all, Kathys life was defined by sharing her love of Jesus.
Kathy exhibited an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and modeled nurturing for others. She studied nursing and was proudly a nurse practitioner. A lifelong learner. Suffice to say, her nose was frequently in a book – on just about any subject.
She was highly active throughout her entire life, from childhood horseback riding to adulthood gardening. But most of all was passionate about teaching the word of God. She was an inspiration to those who learned from her and was known as the most profound when sharing knowledge about life and her Savior.
She is survived by her mother, Iris, her husband, Chip, her children, Jered(Renee)
Joey (Guy) and Katrina, two step children Mike and Sarah her loving grandchildren and many friends whom loved her dearly.
Waiting for her at the Door to Heaven is her father Harvey and her daughter Melanie.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24, at 11 AM in the Tooele Springs Calvary Chapel, 47 N Main St., Tooele, Utah 84074. Burial will follow in the Tooele City Cemetery.
