Katherine LeBlanc Hanberry

Katherine LeBlanc Hanberry was born on August 14, 1924 in Harahan, LA and passed away on September 11, 2024 at 100 years old. Katherine was the daughter of the late Charles Bordes and Roslie Russo Bordes; sister of the late Charles Bordes Jr.; wife of the late Carol LeBlanc and Eugene "Buster" Hanberry; and her son, Robert LeBlanc. Katherine is survived by her only daughter, CarrollAnn Constance; two sons Donald LeBlanc (Alexis) & Christopher LeBlanc (Lee); nine grandchildren: Kimberly Constance, Donald LeBlanc Jr., Bridgette Hammant, Patricia Tatum, Leslie Kimbrew, Gregory LeBlanc, Gerard Constance, Brandon LeBlanc, Nicole Reeves and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and one niece. Katherine was a lifelong resident of Harahan, La. She enjoyed seeing her customers each day as a head bank teller for Whitney Bank for over 30 years in her Harahan community. As beautiful as Katherine was on the outside, her heart was even more beautiful. She will be deeply missed, her love, kindness, and integrity will live on in the hearts of her family and those all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, LA 70001 on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Visitation will began at 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hope Mausoleum, 4841 Canal St, New Orleans, La 70119 after the mass.
