Katherine Elaine Jackson

Katherine Elaine Jackson, age 66 of Chickamauga, went to be with her Lord on Sunday August 13, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and employed for over 25 years by the City of Fort Oglethorpe. She was a civil war buff and loved animals. She was also an avid Georgia Bulldawgs fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Katherine Zaremsky; and brother, William Alexander Zaremsky.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 48 years, Barry Jackson; sisters, Connie Ballew, Pat Coulter and Barbara Zaremsky; sisters-in-law, Nancy Zaremsky, Kathy McKensie and Vicky Sims; brother-in-law, Tony Jackson; nephew, Greg Laminack (Paige); great nephew, Ryan Laminack (Shelly); great niece, Erika McLane (Ryan); great great nephew, Harrison Ryan Laminack; numerous extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be 4pm until 8pm Tuesday August 15, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral Service will be 1:30pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Kris Taivalkoski officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
