Katherine "Katie" Efraimson
Katherine “Katie” Efraimson, age 30, of Shoreview, passed away on August 24, 2023. Katie
was a loving daughter, sister, friend, and co-worker. She is survived by her mother, Martha, brother
Patrick, sister Sarah (Keith Olson), and all the members of her large, loving extended family. She was
preceded in death by her father, John.
Katie was a very sweet person who was quick to give a smile or to offer help. She was a talented pianist
and violinist, she earned a black belt in karate, and she was a member of the National Honor Society and
Speech Club. She loved making cards, doing arts and crafts, baking, and trying new recipes. In particular,
she loved animals, and volunteered at several dog rescue organizations. She was a trusted and valued
employee at Metro Mobility, where she was the lead reservationist and support staff for administration.
She always knew everyone’s name and was always happy to chat.
Katie will very much be missed but we would like to have those who knew her come to a celebration of
life in late September. Details will be posted on social media.
Memorials are asked to be directed to Happy Tails Rescue in Fridley, MN.
Miller Funeral Home, 763-571-1300

I would occasionally see Katie at Snail Lake Elementary. She always had a smile on her face and a nice thing to say! RIP Katie
