Katherine Pearl (Hahn) Lane, age 66, passed way peacefully on October 29, 2025 in her home surrounded by her family in Rochester, MN.

Born on July 17, 1959, in Rochester, MN, the oldest daughter of Roy and Eunice (Nelson) Hahn. Kathy spent most of her life living in southeastern Minnesota.

Kathy was the mother of three daughters: Krista (Shane) Gullickson of Rochester, Korrie Lane of Heartland, Kassi Lane of Rochester. She was a proud grandmother of Tomeshia (Bryce) Whitenack of Virgina, Eric Johnson of Rochester, Karter Wicklund of Rochester, Tyrah, Maliki, Mariska, and Kaylee. She was a cherished great-grandmother to Braxton, Kevra, Sofia, Liam, Benjamin, and Noah. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters Konnie (Brian) Smith of Daytona Beach, Florida and Heidi (Tom) Morrow of Spring Valley. Kathy also leaves behind 2 nieces Alexandra and Lauren, many cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members and several close and dear friends that she felt as family. Kathy was proceeded in death by her parents Roy and Eunice Hahn, her grandparents Clifford and Esther Nelson, and August Kjeldsen.

Her family was the heart of her world, and she found immense pride and joy in their company and accomplishments.

Graduated high school from Faith Christian school in Rochester, MN. Attended Rochester Community & Technical College. Throughout her life, Kathy embraced the most simple pleasures- She enjoyed fishing, watching sunsets over water, baking and making big meals for her family and friends, crafting with her sisters, reading and traveling with friends and family as well as visiting her granddaughter and family, whom is actively serving as a United States Marine. Kathy was a familiar face at local bingo nights, she rarely missed a weekly game with her family and close friends. Above all else, she deeply treasured her time with family- whether gathered for holidays or treasuring the simplicity of everyday moments. Kathy spent her final working years with Lutheran Social Services as a secretary for LINK, where she was well known as "Grandma LINK" with a welcoming big smile and open arms to many homeless and at risk youth in Rochester. Kathy also enjoyed taking pride in her family Native American culture. She spent several years volunteering as a secretary for the local Native American Parent Committee and making her exceptional, well-known fry bread for many powwows.

May Kathy's memory bring comfort to all those that knew and loved her.

A celebration of life is scheduled for January 24, 2026 at Charlie's Eatery in Rochester Minnesota from 11-4pm for bingo, just as Kathy wished.
