Katherine Irene "Snookie" Mock, 82, of Frederick, MD, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, holding her husband's hand and surrounded by family. Born February 4, 1943, in Washington County, she was preceded in death by siblings William Kruger, Clara Goff, John Tobery, Doris Mock, Rosalie Huse, Clifford "Jr." Jewell, Frank Jewell, Jean Jewell, and grandchildren Matthew Lansdowne and Dusty Manahan. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Wayne Mock; children Daniel Lansdowne Sr., Mary Kauffman, Wesley Lansdowne, Janet Seipler, Brian Seipler Sr, and Lisa Macek; siblings Robert (Janet) Jewell, Reed Jewell, Ruby Shane, and Patty Jewell; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and her dog Izzy.

Snookie loved bowling at Terrace Lanes, cooking shows, card games, and collecting treasures. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Frederick.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 12, from 10-11 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support her husband athttps://gofund.me/414fbc82
