Trujillo Family Funeral HomeObituary for Katherine Lynn Stockton (Fenolio)
Katherine “Kathy” Lynn Stockton, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on July 21, 1951, in Albuquerque, where she was raised and lived her life for the Lord. Kathy was 74 years old.
She was the daughter of Chuck and Claire Fenolio, who welcomed her into heaven, along with her daughter Bobbi, brother Chuck and his wife Diane, and her sister-in-law Tammy. Kathy is survived by her brother Ron Fenolio and his wife Irene, her sisters Lisa and Jackie Fenolio, and her brother Steve Fenolio; and all their children.
She leaves behind her four loving children, 17 grandchildren and great grandchildren: Charla Garcia and her husband Octavio, with grandsons Brandon and Trystan. Sherri Engler and her husband Danny, with grandchildren Brittney and Tristan. Robert Stockton and his wife Sarah, with grandchildren Jordyn, Ayva, Bella, Harley, Kaia, Kaden, Ella and Calli.
Eric Stockton and his wife Amber, with grandchildren Audrey, Shane and Luke. Her grandchildren from her daughter Bobbi, Daisy and Phillip also survive her, along with their families including multiple great-grandchildren. Kathy’s family was her life focus. She loved her family dearly, cherishing her role as a mother and grandmother.
She was crafty and always made gifts for everyone including blankets, holiday décor, and stuffed animals, her daddy’s fudge, and Molasses Crinkles. She has left her legacy of handiwork as a reminder of her love. Her crafting supplies were donated to several ministries that serve the community by making blankets for those in medical care or in need. She was feisty, fun, and found great joy in fishing and politics. Above all, she lived a life deeply loved by God, and her faith in Christ was her everything.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
