Kathi Adkins Obituary
Kathi Sue Adkins, 60 of Lake, WV, departed this life on March 29, 2023 at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV.
She was born September 12, 1962 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of the late James E. Zamow and Louise Harmon Zamow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gaylord & Oma Mae Thompson Harmon and Fred & Kate Hanshaw Zamow, brother, James D. Zamow, and her inlaws, Archie & Mary Sturgell Adkins.
Kathi had an easy-going spirit, a great sense of humor and cast a beautiful light wherever she went. She was a wonderful granny and took pride in helping raise her grandsons as if they were here own.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Archie L. Adkins Jr; one daughter, Amber Brewer; one son, Kevin Zamow; grandchildren, Jamison Berry, Delilah Brewer and Seth Brewer; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Zamow; uncle and aunt, Tom and Viv Zamow; nephews, James E. Zamow and Thomas Zamow; nieces, Karen Zamow and Katie Zamow-Russel; and three great nephews and niece.
Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Shining Light Church, Chapmanville, WV with Rev. Ricky Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the church.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
