Kathleen Mae Beitzel, 93, of Wadsworth passed away Monday, December 16, 2024.
She was born March 18, 1931, in Wadsworth to the late Orrin and Mary Wolf.
Mrs. Beitzel was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was a former employee of Con Val, Ohio Box Board and Halstead Medical. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, genealogy, reading and traveling to all 50 states and several foreign countries. She was a member of the Rincon del Diablo Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution along with her granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy on February 11, 2005, sister Mida Lowe, daughter-in-law Jane Marie Beitzel and step granddaughter Dawn Keller.
Kathleen is survived by her son Walter Glen Beitzel of Akron, grandchildren Jennifer Halter of CA, Christopher Beitzel of CA, step grandson David Duncan of Newton Falls and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her cousin Joyce Gattis of Carrollton, TX and her sister-in-law Betty Beitzel.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Monday, December 23, 2024, at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where friends will be received one hour prior to the service from 10-11am. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
