Janet Lee Beitzel

Janet Lee "Jan" Beitzel, 73, of Elkton, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, in Charlottesville, VA.
Jan was born on March 5, 1951, in Oakland, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Harley Emerson and Elizabeth Mae Enlow Glover.
She graduated from Northern High School in Accident, Maryland and then went on to receive a Bachelor's degree while living in Florida. Until her retirement, she was employed as a vascular tech at both Rockingham Memorial Hospital and Augusta Medical Center. She was a very happy and caring person and positively loved by many. Her passion was antique collecting and gardening. She was known for some of the most beautiful flowers around her home on North Stewart Avenue in Elkton.
Ms. Glover is survived by her daughter, Lori Beitzel; brother, Ken Glover and a sister Dianne Albano.
She is now resting peacefully in heaven watching over us and sharing her love with us all. Jan is deeply missed by so many including her brother Ken; her pastor, Judy Hensley; close friends and relatives as well as all of her friends at the Elkton Community Center and Elkton Presbyterian Church.
In keeping with Janet's wishes, all services were private.
